although it's a couple weeks later, and it may seem irrelevant now -I got myself up at 4:30 in the morning and walked about 60 blocks to the Brooklyn Bridge to film people commuting to Manhattan during the first morning of the TWU/MTA strike. -see if you can spot mayor Mike Bloomberg!- ::"pilgrimage" by nine inch nails:: Click here to watch

absolutely.

I, like many New Yorkers felt like a slave to the system the moment that strike was set in motion -this is merely an expression of that.

Wouldn't you be a slave to the system by using TWU anyway? If its mass transit, by using it or not, you would be doing so with many many other people. So, you depend on it either way.
